Overseas

Jackie and Norman are experienced in overseas travel with extensive travel around many non-dive and dive locations in exoctic parts of the world.  You only need to mention overseas travel to find out how enthusiastic they are.  Most recently their adventures include several trips to Egypt, Easter Island, The Galapagos, South America, Hawaii, cruising the Inside Passage from Canada to Alaska (where diving can be arranged), several trips to The Solomon Islands and Vanuata, diving the famous SS Coolidge.  Join the team from Divers Delight on an overseas dive trip exploring some of the worlds greatest dive destinations and be guaranteed a fantastic adventure. Check out the dates and destinations below.

Solomon Islands - July 2009

This trip offers diving wrecks and reefs, staying in the capital Honiara and an optional trip to Tulagi to dive the deep wreck - USS Aaron Ward, among others.

The Solomon Islands is a largely untouched paradise of warm water diving.  Despite some recent political upheavles Honiara remains a safe city, with a relaxed go slow islander attitude.  The Islander peoples are very warm and friendly and are only to happy to show you around.  There is lots to see and do around Honiara after diving.

The trip caters to all diving interests with shore and boat diving the pristine reefs and wrecks around Honiara.  The dives will be tailored to meet your diving needs - if you want spend hours on shallow reefs wracking up bottom time, with your camera or you want to go deeper on a variety of wrecks, it can be easily arranged.  Manifolded twins and sling tanks (with appropriate mixes) can be provided for the technical diver as well.

Santo & Tanna - Vanuatu  - October 2009

Sipidan - Malaysia

Where do you want to go

We are considering the following expeditions for the next few years and we want to know what you think.  Some trips are at the cheaper end, while others are more expensive, mostly because of the cost of airfares to Europe and North America.

Bali -  Mola Mola (giant Sunfish)

Christmas Island - Whalesharks and other pelagics, pristine coral walls and red crabs!!

Sabah - reefs and orangutans!

Antartica - with Dive Adventures, this is at the expensive end and a trip of a life time - one of those 101 dives to do before you die!!

The Canadian Artic - St Lawrence Seaway - submerged villages, crystal clear waters under the ice (ice dive training included)

Egypt and the Red Sea - temples, markets, the Pyramids and amazing diving in the Red Sea on The Thistlegorm complete with motor cycles, jeeps air plane parts and a stem train on the deck!

Scapa Flow - Orkney Islands, Scotland - WW1 wrecks and single malt!

Norway and Iceland - WW11 wrecks in Narvik Bay Norway and you can actually see two continental plates in Silfra Iceland.

Where to go?  How do you choose?  Do you not go O/S for a few years and save for the big one?

Talk to us at Divers Delight and maybe we can help you decide.  We have excellent relationships with dive tour operators in Australia and overseas and are always willing to assist you your travel needs.
